Ethel Lester, a dear member of the West Challow community, sadly passed away on 18th April. Ethel’s family have thanked everyone who attended her funeral and for their kindness, cards, letters, flowers and donations.
On 29th June, around 30 villagers gathered at the Village Hall’s monthly ‘Pub NIght’ to raise a toast to Ethel. Colin Barratt, Chairman of the Parish Council, delivered a moving tribute.
