Found – white hen

Has anyone in the village lost a white hen, or does anyone know to whom she might belong? She has been wandering our garden during today and has now made herself quite at home under our carport for the night, and even kindly left us a gift! We do have five very curious cats legitimately living with us, and others who visit from time to time, so would like to ensure her safety as soon as we can. At the moment, we have no means of keeping her in any enclosed space, but will investigate possibilities tomorrow.
