Hedging behind the Village Hall

The recent sticks that have arrived are tree protectors and canes. The Woodland Trust through its Community  Project has supplied free 30 saplings to enhance and extend the boundary hedging behind the hall. We will all be able to watch a mixed hedge grow providing greater diversity and interest for ourselves and  wildlife.

The hedge saplings include hawthorn, wild rose, crabapple, hazel and dogwood. Spot the difference as they grow!
