Pandemonium in West Challow

An evening of music by Pandemonium will take place in West Challow village hall on Friday, 8th November, at 7.30pm (doors and bar open at 7pm) – tickets cost £10/adults and £5/children – and our popular raffle will also take place.

Pandemonium is a versatile music group based in Wantage who have been playing together for 27 years, and play a variety of traditional folk instruments, including melodeon, recorder, English concertina, bodhran (Irish hand drum), guitar, bass, violin, Irish banjo and mandolin.  Their repertoire includes toe-tapping folk tunes from all over the British Isles, recitations, and poetry – serious and light-hearted.  They also sing many popular songs, with plenty of opportunity for the audience to join in the choruses.  Pandemonium’s emphasis is always on fun and informality and a great evening of entertainment can be guaranteed.

The village hall committee will be going round the village shortly to sell tickets but in the meantime – please make sure this event is in your diaries – if we miss you and you  would like to purchase tickets, please contact one of the hall committee, shown below.
