We’ll soon be starting work in your area on Silver Lane to replace the water pipes to the new large plastic pipes, which are much stronger. This will ensure that we continue to provide a top quality service.
When we’re working
We’ll start work week commencing Monday 26 November until Friday 21 December 2018.
The working hours will be Monday – Friday 8.00am – 6.00pm and Saturday 8.00am to
How you’re affected
Our works will be completed under a road closure on Silver Lane from Faringdon Road to Orchard Gardens. All diversion routes will be clearly signed. This may cause some delays to your journey, so please bear this in mind when travelling.
Access will be maintained for residents, bin collections and emergency vehicles.
We apologise in advance for any inconvenience that our important works may cause.
A public drop in session is being held on our Thames Water Information Bus parked at Manor Farm Hotel, Silver Lane on Thursday 15 November from 4pm- 7pm. Please come along, our team will be on hand to talk you through our plans and discuss any concerns you have.
We may need to turn your water off, however we’ll be sure to let you know in writing before it happens. But if you notice any changes, like your water going off unexpectedly, please let us know by calling 0800 316 9800, selecting option one and quoting the above reference number.
